A recent Siemens launch event for its new iQ 800 Master Class laundry appliances produced much chivalry amongst Victorian dealers, with staff and management from Spartan Electrical and E&S Trading both getting into the swing of things – much like the cycles on the new washing machine and dryer.

The Siemens iQ 800 Master Class washing machine (WM16Y890AU, RRP $2,799) has an 8-kilogram capacity and features the new i-Dos automatic detergent dosage system, which is integrated into the appliance. It has a 5-star water rating and a 4-star energy rating.

Its laundry mate is the iQ 800 Master Class heat pump dryer (WT48Y780AU, RRP $2,699), which has a 7-kilogram capacity and 'activeAir' technology to dry larger items gently and low temperatures. This model has 6-star energy rating.
