Total sales at JB Hi-Fi Australia have dipped 0.1% for the period 1 January to 31 March 2024 (Q3 FY24) with comparable sales down 0.3%.
Total sales and comparable sales declined 0.8% for The Good Guys during the quarter. Total sales at JB Hi-Fi New Zealand experienced 16.8% growth with comparable sales up 2.9%.
According to the Group, sales remained resilient and in line with expectations, given the challenging and competitive retail market.
JB Hi-Fi Group CEO, Terry Smart said, “We are pleased with our Q3 FY24 sales results. Our trusted value-based offerings and high levels of customer service continue to resonate with our customers.”
The latest update follows a 2.2% sales decline for the six months to 31 December 2023.
