Yamaha is introducing the new TW-E5B true wireless earbuds featuring a stylish design, advanced microphone system, ambient sound function and gaming mode to deliver ultimate versatility.

Yamaha’s unique Listening Care technology provides intelligent equalisation at any volume for safe music listening by balancing high and low frequencies.

The 7mm driver unit and nozzle are placed on the same axis as the sound conduit, eliminating obstacles from the sound conduit to the sound exit as much as possible. By driving the diaphragm quickly and accurately in response to the input signal, a clear high frequency range can be reproduced.

Ambient sound mode can be used for increased awareness of surroundings, while gaming mode reduces the delay between sound and video for optimised performance.

Yamaha has achieved an internal design structure with few protrusions to prevent interference from unnecessary noise and echoes. Additionally, a hole on the rear side of the earbuds controls the back pressure generated from the driver. This maximises the use of air inside the earbuds and leads to the reproduction of a rich low range with a three-dimensional feel.

The oval shape of the earbuds allows the user to rotate the earbuds to fit in any position when worn. Four sizes of ear-tips are provided to ensure a comfortable seal to enjoy a wide range of sound frequencies for an extended period.

For voice calls, the TW-E5B feature Qualcomm cVc (Clear Voice Capture) technology. The high-performance MEMS microphones in both earbuds are dedicated to calls, separating the incoming voice from other noises. Silicone is used for the sound conduit wire that connects the microphone hole in the earphone housing to the call circuit board. By sealing the sound conduit, it prevents unnecessary resonance and sound loss.

In addition to delivering up to 30 hours of battery life with an enhanced charging case featuring battery life indicators, the earbuds are IPX5 rated for water and sweat resistance.

The Yamaha TW-E5B true wireless earbuds will be available in late March for RRP $199.
