Thanks to retail engagement.
TCL Electronics has claimed a huge annual increase in sales of 40% as it launches its new C1 range of Q-UHD televisions.
According to TCL brand manager, Mat Patuawa, the increase in sales represents strong engagement with its key retailer partners including Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Betta Home Living, Appliances Online, Leading Appliances, Retravision, Bi-Rite, Radio Rentals South Australia and Kambos in Western Australia.
Patuawa said the retailers were interested to see the new range ahead of an expected increase in sales over the coming months prior to the Olympics.
“Based on other events such as the World Cup and football finals, we seem to see a consistent uplift in sales – so we do not expect there to be anything different when it comes to retail sales of televisions ahead of the Olympics this year.”
The new range of C1 flat televisions are now on the market and the C1 curved models are available from 1 July. The four televisions in the range include the C1 Flat 55-inch (RRP $1799), the C1 Flat 65-inch (RRP $2899), the C1 Curved 55-inch (RRP $2099) and the C1 Curved 65-inch (RRP $3199). The C1 range are 9.9mm thick and feature Wide Colour Enhancer, Black Crystal Display, Netflix, Go Live, Wifi TV, content on demand and connectivity.
