LG Electronics Australia has confirmed that LG gram laptops will ship with Microsoft’s newest operating system, Windows 11. Earlier compatible LG gram models can be upgraded by visiting Microsoft’s website.

With a new visual language, Windows 11 offers new features such as improved virtual desktop support, the ability to access widgets directly from the Taskbar, Xbox features to improve the PC gaming experience and easier multitasking with Snap Layouts and Snap Groups. The new Chromium-based Edge integrated into Windows 11 offers improved performance, speed and efficiency. 

“The new LG gram laptops with Windows 11 is an example of our ongoing commitment to the category and our customers. Our laptop products are designed for both work and personal functionality and are built to enhance productivity with an immersive viewing experience,” LG Electronics Australia head of B2B marketing (solutions for business, Brad Reed said.

“While it is possible for current LG gram laptop owners to install Microsoft’s latest operating system on their current machines, the out of the box experience on brand new devices is important to many of our customers who want to get working right away.” 

The 2021 LG gram 17-inch laptop with Windows 11 is available now with leading retailers and online LG.com/au. The LG gram14-inch and 16-inch models will be available in Q1 2022.
