For 10th year.

Electrolux was host to key media and retail partners as the major sponsor of Taste of Sydney Collective at Sydney’s Barangaroo Cutaway last week.

Electrolux senior brand manager, Karen Nguyen said, “We were thrilled to mark 10 years of Taste with a reimagined festival in the unique location at The Cutaway, Barangaroo. This year, we purpose built two Electrolux Collective Kitchens so that food lovers could get closer to the action as they watched and interacted with their favourite chefs.

“Over the four days we had 36 of the very best international, interstate and Sydney chefs – including the likes of Skye Gyngell from Spring in London and Louis Tikaram from E.P. & L.P. in Los Angeles – serve 64 new dishes that were exclusive to the festival.”

The team behind the event, including chef Mark Best (pictured above) handpicked a line-up of talent that saw local and interstate chefs team up with high-profile internationals to create unique dishes exclusive to the festival.

“It was great to be involved in the Taste of Sydney Collective and be in the enviable position of choosing from the best of Australian culinary talent. They cooked creative and delicious dishes that showcased their unique style and incredible Australian produce. Cooking from an open kitchen, chefs were able to engage festival goers in a truly unique, architectural setting,” Best commented.

From small producers to well-known brands launching their latest offering, The PlayGround at Taste of Sydney Collective was a lively market environment for visitors to find, try and buy.
