In two-day sales blitz.

Amazon Australia’s Prime Day event went live at midnight on Sunday with two days of deals and an extra 17 hours of deals straight from the US to Prime members in Australia, making it the longest Prime Day in the world.

Deals included saving 50% on Amazon Echo and Echo Dot, saving $100 on select Ring home security, up to 50% off Philips personal care appliances, as well as big savings on Bose and Bang & Olufsen speakers.

Amazon Australia country manager, Rocco Braeuniger said, “Prime members in Australia were the first to get access to Prime Day deals and they can shop from tens of thousands of products at amazing prices. With huge savings on everything from fashion to home entertainment, to books and household essentials, we are excited to bring Aussies the longest Prime Day in the world.”

Online retailer, Catch.com.au launched its mega 48-hour non-stop price drop on Monday with heavily discounted deals site-wide across all categories.
