IVE Group has launched the new Lasoo platform, designed to help Australian consumers save time and money, as well as easily discover deals.

The platform brings together over 80 of Australia’s biggest retailers including Aldi, Coles, Godfreys, Woolworths and exclusive retailers such as BBQs Galore.

Users can shop and discover deals from their preferred retailers in one location. Leveraging innovative technology such as artificial intelligence, Lasoo’s platform personalises the products best suited to customer needs, including exclusive features such as location-based searches and alerts to ensure you never miss a deal near you, unique to the Lasoo platform.

New research commissioned by Lasoo has found that almost nine in ten (89%) Australians are still overspending on items. With nearly one in five (17%) Australians admitting they overspend often, that means over 3.4 million Australians are still splashing out top dollar, especially on everyday essentials.

The study uncovered the key categories Australians are most likely to overspend on are clothing and accessories (46%), groceries (44%), electronics, computers, and software (33%), and health and beauty (28%).

Australian comedian and TV presenter, Julia Morris has teamed up with Lasoo for the launch to help consumers save time on purchases and stop paying ‘fool’ price.

“I’m excited to be teaming up with Lasoo to help make these great deals more accessible to Australians everywhere. If there are two things we could all do with a little more of, it’s time and money. Lasoo is like my very own personal shopping assistant, tailoring the best deals for my interests from all of the top retailers,” Morris said.

Lasoo CEO, Rob Draper understands the need for consumer savings in this climate and hopes to support Australians who are finding times tough.

“Cost of living has hit hard this year and we at Lasoo want to level the playing field. Customers should be able to shop with the peace-of-mind that they’re getting the best price possible, and we’ve worked to bring on the biggest and best retailers to make that process as simple as possible.”
