SYDNEY: Betta Electrical’s recent Mother’s Day Made of Honour move pass giveaway and Gold Coast weekend holiday prize draw has been declared one of the group’s most successful promotions.
As part of its Mother’s Day Made of Honour promotion during April, five Betta Electrical customers have won a weekend trip to the Hyatt Regency at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.
The winning entries came from Betta Electrical outlets in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, Young and Hay in New South Wales and two from Toowoomba in Queensland.
General Manager of BSR Australia Limited, the Betta stores franchisor, Ian Brown said he was extremely pleased at the customer response to this promotion.
“In terms of popularity, this promotion was second only to Betta Electrical’s Ultimate Santa Sack competition from December 2007,” Brown said.
“Keeping in mind its customer interest, the Made of Honour promotion significantly exceeded all expectations.”
Toowoomba franchisee Mark Philipson said over 300 customers had entered at his Wilsonton store.
“It’s great to see that two of our regular customers have taken home such a great prize. Mother’s Day is always a busy time for us and the Made of Honour promotion made it even more successful,” he said.
Brown said promotions and giveaways were an important part of Betta Electrical’s offer to customers.
“Franchise-wide competitions are an important part of rewarding loyal customers and attracting new ones,” he said. “It allows us to give something back to the customers who support us.”
