Reveals best selling products.
Amazon Australia claims that its site attracted a record number of customers and the company made record sales during Prime Day. The shopping event represents its two most successful days since launch in December 2017.
Amazon Echo devices, PS4 Pro consoles and Bose noise cancelling headphones topped the best seller list during Amazon’s Prime Day, with Nintendo Switch consoles being snapped up in under one minute. The shopping event kicked off at 12pm on 16 July and concluded at midnight on 17 July.
Amazon Australia country manager, Rocco Braeuniger said demand exceeded expectations with sales surpassing Boxing Day on the first day.
“We have been humbled by the response from Prime members to Prime Day in Australia. Members across the country have snapped up the thousands of deals during the shopping event reserved exclusively for Prime members.
“Prime Day deals were across all 23 categories, from toys and gaming consoles, to fashion and books, with deep discounts. This is in addition to the great range of other shopping and entertainment benefits we are excited to bring to Prime members in Australia.”
