Hisense brings in Australian-first 5.5 star refrigerator

Most energy efficient on the market.

Hisense will roll out a new black steel 453L bottom mount refrigerator with the highest energy star rating for an Australian refrigerator with 5.5 stars. The refrigerator will be available in retail stores from the end of March for RRP $1,699.

Hisense Australia head of marketing, Andre Iannuzzi said, “We are all increasingly concerned by rising household energy bills and the impact this has on our electricity use and on the environment. The good news is with reliable modern technology, refrigerators have never been more efficient.

“This is the most energy efficient refrigerator Hisense has ever engineered and we are very proud to be first launching in Australia.

“The black steel 453L bottom mount refrigerator demonstrates the role innovation and clever engineering can play in helping all of us be more eco-friendly without compromising on the size, functionality and convenience of a product.”

The new bottom mount refrigerator utilises vacuum insulation panel (VIP), coupled with an advanced inverter compressor motor to ensure minimal temperature fluctuation, quiet operation and energy efficiency.

Other features include a multi-function touch control panel, interior LED lighting and nine-interchangeable shelves. In addition, Multi Air Flow Cooling allows for even distribution of air and temperature consistency, while Holiday Power Saving Mode helps minimise energy costs.

“This refrigerator has been thoughtfully designed with Australian consumers in mind, whether entertaining or heading off on holiday, they can make the most of our latest and greatest energy efficient refrigerator to lower their environmental footprint and help their hip pocket at the same time,” Iannuzzi added.
