Jura Australia will be bringing its new premium mid-segment coffee machine, the S8, to Harvey Norman stores this month and to other retail partners at a later date. The Jura S8 will carry a price tag of $2,650.

Following an exclusive preview of the S8 to retail partners earlier this year, Jura was host to a select group of media at Sydney’s The Rocks on Tuesday to showcase the new machine with special guest, sports presenter, Erin Molan (pictured).

“This machine is absolutely next level and the company’s association with Roger Federer and my passion for sport means it is a really great fit, and I am proud to represent the Jura brand,” Molan said.

The design of the S8 incorporates clean symmetrical forms and harmonious lines and a bean container cover made of hand-polished, die-cast zinc. It sports an integrated 4.3 inch high resolution colour touchscreen display and users can program individual preferences at the touch of a button and control their coffee machine from the Jura coffee app.

Other features include the Pulse Extraction process (P.E.P.) for optimum extraction time, the Aroma G3 grinder now even more precise and twice as fast and a new professional fine foam frother.

Jura Australia retail manager, Sylvia Occhipinti presenting the S8

“Our machines are categorised into entry, mid and premium segments. The S8 falls into the new category of a premium-mid segment. This means we have taken the very best of that premium segment, including the design, and use the compactness of a mid-range to give the customer at home the best of both worlds,” Jura Australia retail manager, Sylvia Occhipinti told attendees.
