SYDNEY: Lexmark Australia has introduced two full-featured wireless all-in-one (AIO) printers that also offer automatic two-sided printing.
“Lexmark’s new all-in-ones deliver business-class productivity with the added advantages of wireless to help busy professionals get more done quickly, easily and affordably,” said Lexmark executive vice president and president of its Consumer Printer Division, Paul Rooke.
According to Lexmark, wireless AIOs can boost productivity for small office/home office (SOHO) professionals by allowing them to print wirelessly from anywhere within range of their wireless network. Wireless AIOs also allow multiple computer users to share the same wireless printer.
Features of the new wireless printers include automatic two-sided printing, a color LCD for easy stand-alone printing, scanning, copying and faxing, and pigmented Lexmark evercolor2 ink, which is water resistant and offers increased resistance against fading and smudging.
Printing internet pages is made easier by the Lexmark Toolbarwhich guerantees to print the entire contents of the page, saving time and frustration. Photo media card slots and a PictBridge port allow easy access to photos.
In addition, Lexmark offer an exclusive Protection Guarantee with next-business-day replacement for up to one year after purchase.
Leading the new Lexmark wireless lineup is the Lexmark X6570 Wireless All-in-One, a wireless four-in-one printer priced at RRP $299. It offers wireless connectivity with two-sided printing, fax, a 25-page automatic document feeder for copying and faxing, and photo printing with Lexmark’s exclusive evercolor2 inks.
For SOHO professionals who have a strong interest in wireless and photo capabilities, there is the Lexmark X4850 Wireless All-in-One at RRP $249.
The Lexmark X5070 Colour All-in-One offers a sheet-fed design, built in handset and print speeds of up to 24 ppm in black and 17 ppm in color5, this printer is also offers PictBridge support and a 30-page automatic document feeder for RRP $179.
These printers will be available from October through Harvey Norman, Dick Smith Electronics, Dick Smith Powerhouse and Officeworks outlets.
