Women of e&s hosted its inaugural networking breakfast on 18 July, 2023, joined by the e&s executive leadership team, supplier partners and leaders from outside of the industry.

Industry guests included e&s owner, Rob Sinclair, UNOX Casa managing director, Wayne Viles and Sussex Taps director, Vanessa Katsanevakis, with other notable guests including Coles business category manager, Juan Soto, 9News executive director, Melinda Zahra, Neue Media general manager of communications, Erica Moloney and soul centred coach, Anthea Spark.

The morning kicked off with barista made coffee, followed by an introduction to the networking partners by Women of e&s committee member, Linda Soto, posing the question ‘Why is diversity in leadership important?’.

Erica Moloney and Michelle Kane of Neue Media spoke of their mutual experience of working within a predominantly female lead business.

The question was used a segue to the soft introduction of the e&s mentorship program with more details to come. Guests were also treated to a breakfast prepared by the e&s culinary team headed up by Michael Smith.

“We hope to encourage professional and personal growth through facilitating connections with leaders, both within and external to our industry,” e&s head of A&D and trade partner, Lauren Mastoropoulos said.
