SURFERS PARADISE: The publicly-listed MFS Diversified Group today announced it has settled the acquisition of Clive Anthonys retail site located at 1925 Gympie Road, Bald Hills for $5.57 million.
The standalone retail showroom, purchased by MFS Diversified Group, has been leased to Clive Anthony’s Electrical Superstore until 2014 with options thereafter.
The 1925 Gympie Road site adjoins the Carseldine Homemaker Centre which is anchored by Crazy Clark’s and is also owned by MFT.
“The acquisition of the property increase the current Carseldine Homemaker centre site from 11,905 square metres to 14,505 square metres providing effective management synergies,” said MFS Diversifed Group chief executive officer, Craig White.
The company said the purchase fits within its strategy “to secure retail investments with A-grade tenants on long term leases”.
