TCL has added to it refrigerator line-up with a 421L French Door model in Brushed Silver.
“Despite people around the country paying thousands more for groceries than they did a year ago, households are still throwing away around one in five bags of groceries, which Foodbank Australia said is equal to around 312kg per person,” TCL Electronics Australia marketing manager, Rafael Mayen said.
There are plenty of techniques to combat food waste, but one way that is often overlooked is the ways consumers use their refrigerator, he said.
“This new model features a special fresh food zone compartment located beside the humidity-controlled crisper drawer that can be converted into a second humidity-controlled crisper drawer, that provides consumers with more options to keep produce fresher for longer and reduce food waste,” Mayen said.
TCL inverter technology also maintains optimum storage conditions by constantly monitoring and adjusting temperatures, improving energy efficiency and reducing operational noise compared with conventional compressors.
The fridge also carries a super freeze mode, digital display touch screen, adjustable shelving, LED lighting, adjustable front legs, child lock and a three-year manufacturer warranty.
