SYDNEY: Oricom’s first ever retail promotion has concluded, with one consumer walking away with a $5,000 cheque, and the cordless phone supplier walking away with increased channel support and distribution.
In April and May this year Oricom conducted its first ever retail promotion for Mother’s Day which provided any purchaser with the chance to win a cheque for $5,000, to be spent how the winner saw fit.
“This is our first ever promotion in the Australia, so we wanted to start with something small and work our way up. The promotion is about building the brand. We also want to support our retail partners to help sell our products in store,” said Oricom marketing manager, Marlene Silva.
The winner’s cheque was awarded to Sylvia Doig of Greenwich in New South Wales, by Oricom managing director, Kevin McDonnell and Domayne North Ryde proprietor, Steve Gulezski.
“The result of this first nationwide Oricom promotion exceeded all our expectations. Thanks again to our supporting channel partners who have helped make this promotion a great success. We are looking forward to conducting bigger and better promotions in the near future,” said McDonnell.
