Smeg has expanded their coffee offering, adding an espresso machine with integrated coffee grinder, designed for coffee connoisseurs.
The Smeg EGF03 machine features stainless steel conical grinders to grind beans evenly and at a super-fine level. The top grinder can be removed for easy cleaning. The dual Thermoblock heating system ensures the steam function is always ready once the coffee has been brewed. The 58mm portafilter and steam wand – both made of stainless steel – means coffee can be prepared like a barista, while the pressure gauge shows extraction according to the espresso parameters.
Dual menus on the control panel make preparation easy. From the main menu, users can choose between two pre-set grind options to prepare a single or double espresso, and two brewing options, to prepare one or two cups of coffee. It’s also possible to select the preferred pre-infusion profile – short, standard, long and progressive – and from four extraction temperature levels.
Featuring a distinctive design from Smeg’s collaboration with deepdesign studio, the EGF03 comes with a range of accessories including non-pressurised and pressurised filters, milk jug and accessories for cleaning and maintenance.
The new Smeg machine with integrated coffee grinder is available in six colours: red, white, black, cream, pastel green and pastel blue for RRP $1,299.
