Smeg’s Stay Toasty campaign, in partnership with Nutella, has welcomed international food artist, Nathan Wyburn, to encourage consumers to get creative for breakfast.
Creating his signature toast masterpieces, Wyburn has brought to life media personality Karl Stefanovic, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and a Nutella jar. Known for creating portraits of celebrities using food, he first rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent in 2011 with his toast portrait of comedian Michael McIntyre. Since then, he has created artworks of Miley Cyrus, Adele and Justin Bieber, to name a few.
“I love working with Nutella in my day-to-day artwork, so this partnership was a great chance to make some uniquely Australian artworks. I am excited to see what Aussies create while staying toasty with Nutella and Smeg this winter,” Wyburn said.
Smeg Australia managing director, Jim Kalotheos said, “At Smeg we have a deep passion for food and Italian artistry, with a long-standing heritage in both cooking and design. We are excited to bring this passion to life in partnership with fellow Italian icon, Nutella, and to encourage everyone to get creative with breakfast by drawing inspiration from Nathan’s toast masterpieces.”
Each day Smeg is giving Australian consumers the chance to win one of 20 white four-slice Smeg toasters, featuring limited edition Nutella branding. For a chance to win, simply purchase a specially marked jar of Nutella and follow the on-pack instructions to enter online. The campaign runs until 2 July 2020.
