Samsung Electronics Australia has released two models of its first 4K Ultra Short Throw laser projector, The Premiere, to leading Australian retailers.
The LSP7T single laser projector (RRP $10,999) offers up to 120-inch screen size and is the world’s first HDR10+ certified projector with peak brightness of up to 2,800 ANSI lumens.
The LSP9T (RRP $5,999) features triple laser technology, 2,200 lumens of brightness and an image size of up to 130-inches. It boasts two built-in woofers, two tweeters and Samsung’s Acoustic Beam technology, in addition to Samsung’s Smart TV hub and mobile connectivity features such as Tap View and Mobile Mirroring.
The Premiere can be positioned up close to the wall or easily moved away from the wall to adjust the screen size. It supports Filmmaker Mode – the first of its kind for a projector – which helps remove motion smoothing and other post-processing treatments, as well as Game Mode to reduce input lag.
Users can control the projector with their voice with Samsung’s built-in voice assistant, Bixby, and Amazon Alexa.
Samsung Australia director of audio visual, Hass Mahdi said Australians want the ultimate in-home entertainment and big screen experience.
“The Premiere offers 130-inches of 4K picture quality from its ultra-short throw triple laser projection technology. With its compact design and big sound, it is the ideal projector for those looking for a truly cinematic experience.
“We are committed to providing Australians with a rich and diverse portfolio of AV products that meet the changing tastes and experiences of households and we are excited to revolutionise the projector category with The Premiere.”
