Entries are now open for the 2012 Australian International Design Awards (AIDA), the premier acknowledgement for excellence in product and service design.

The appliance and electronics industries have a strong association with these awards, consistently dominating the nominations and wins.

Last year, Electrolux Floor Care and Nespresso both picked up major awards, while Breville, Dyson, Fisher & Paykel, Hurom, Samsung, Ilve, Bowers & Wilkins and Philips were also recognised on the night.
