Bosch has cleaned up in the dishwashing category once again, with the European whitegoods manufacturer announcing that it is the number one brand in dishwashers, both in terms of unit sales and sales value.

According to recent GfK figures, Bosch was the top selling dishwasher brand in 2011 for the second year running, an honour that it also received in 2010.

“Bosch is thrilled to be recognized as Australia’s number one brand of dishwashers for the second year in a row,” said Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances' national marketing manager, Daniel Bobik.

“Our range of German made and engineered dishwashers are testament that we have done our research carefully and delivered an assortment that best suits the Australian lifestyle.

“From our slimline and compact design right through to our full size range of high-quality, reliable and innovative dishwashers, including ActiveWater Plus, which only uses 10.3 litres of water per wash, Bosch will continue to focus on releasing dishwashers that provide everyday solutions consumers can rely on,” said Bobik.

The stand out in the manufacturer’s dishwasher offering is the Bosch Anti-Fingerprint Freestanding dishwasher, which has been the most popular and most sold model across the Bosch range.
