SYDNEY: The marketing manager who helped launch the Life’s Good advertising campaign for LG Electronics, Steve Reid, will leave Fisher & Paykel on Friday after being in the role for just over 12 months.

Reid told that the offer he received was too good to refuse and involves the global rollout of fitness store chain, Workout World, which currently offers 30 stores in Australia.

Reid will leave Fisher & Paykel on Friday after serving a four-week notice period.

“The company I will be going to has a range of innovative fitness products which are patented. In many ways it is like the Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer and its entrance into the US market,” Reid said.

“I am very passionate about Fisher & Paykel and will continue to be after I leave.”

Last week, Reid helped launch a new multi-million dollar advertising campaign for Fisher & Paykel incorporating print, outdoor, online and television executions which promotes a range of new products and unexpectedly its customer service and after sales care commitment.
