Panasonic has recalled its RP-HD610N headphones and carry case as manufacturing residue may remain on the inner pocket of the carry case, which may cause mould. The affected products are not likely to cause any adverse health effects in healthy individuals but may pose a risk to people with weakened immune systems.
Consumers are urged to cease using the product and check for residue tin the carrying case. Consumers can contact Panasonic to arrange a replacement, free of charge, on 13 26 00 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm AEST or via their website www.panasonic.com/au/support.
The headphones were sold between 26 June 2019 and 31 January 2020 at Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, Betta stores, Retravision stores and specialty retailers around the country.
