Panasonic has unveiled the award-winning, premium Ultrasonic Portable Oral Irrigator EW1511, powered by supersonic water jet technology for cleaner teeth and healthier gums in just 60 seconds.

The oral irrigator sports a sleek cordless design and features five pressure settings. Its newly designed flexible nozzle produces a unique ultrasonic water jet with micro bubbles to force out food debris and flush away floating plaque and bacteria in periodontal pockets that cause gum disease. It also gently stimulates gums with approximately 1,600 pulses per minute.

Research into adult oral health has shown that 25% of Australian adults aged 35-54 years old have moderate or severe gum disease (periodontitis) and the prevalence of severe gum disease is increasing year on year.

Panasonic Australia product marketing manager for personal care, Tory Rooney said, “We know consumers are concerned about their dental health and the appearance of their smile, so we have developed a flosser which not only deep cleans and improves oral health, but also keeps the surface of teeth looking bright. Our Ultrasonic Portable Oral Irrigator is waterproof, portable and rechargeable, and 60 seconds is all you need for a beautiful, healthy smile.”

The Panasonic Ultrasonic Portable Oral Irrigator is the winner of a prestigious Red Dot Design Award, recognised for its professional functionality and appealing design in a white and grey finish.  It comes with two nozzles and a charging station with built-in nozzle stands with the oral irrigator taking only one hour to fully charge.

The Panasonic Ultrasonic Portable Oral Irrigator is now available from Amazon and Harvey Norman for RRP $199.95.
