OPPO has unveiled its new A Series smartphone, the OPPO A18, featuring a large 5,000mAh battery and powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 with ample storage.

The OPPO A18 stays true to OPPO’s iconic design aesthetic, available in Glowing Blue and Glowing Black, both featuring the company’s exclusive Glow design technique, giving the back cover a subtle shimmering appearance with a dual matte finish and fingerprint-resistant technology.
The line-up also inherits the same iconic Ultra-Slim Retro Design as previous models in the OPPO A series. With 2D premium design, the device is lightweight at 188 grams and measures just 8.16mm in thickness.
The OPPO A18 introduces a new 90Hz Sunlight Display that can reach up to 720 nits of brightness in high brightness mode to easily view on-screen content, even in direct sunlight. Its 6.56-inch HD+ display delivers vibrant colours and smooth visuals, in addition to an All-Day AI Eye Comfort mode, which minimises eye strain.
Equipped with an 8MP main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera, which work in tandem with OPPO’s advanced portrait algorithm to provide bokeh light spots in the background and highlight the subject in portrait mode. With the 5MP front camera, the OPPO A18 delivers stunning selfies and enhanced video call quality.
In addition to a large 5,000mAh battery, OPPO has introduced a series of exclusive technologies designed to enhance charging safety and battery reliability. All-day charging protection utilises AI to learn charging habits and intelligently schedule charging, ensuring safety and efficiency during overnight or extended charging periods. All-Day AI Power Saving guarantees support for 25 hours all-time standby even at a low battery level of 5%.
Designed with durability in mind, the OPPO A18 has an IP54 dustproof and waterproof rating, with IPX4 water resistance, offering protection against water splashes and humid environments.
The device comes with a 4GB RAM+128GB ROM configuration, and RAM Expansion technology, allowing it to convert free ROM space into up to 4GB of RAM to keep the phone running smoothly.
The OPPO A18 is now available in Australia priced at $219 on the OPPO online store, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, Harvey Norman (online), Bing Lee (online).
