Olimpia Splendid has issued a product recall for all Noirot Wi-Fi Panel Heaters through an abundance of caution. An internal investigation is underway to find the cause of the fault, but it is believed to be a manufacture design defect.

The product failed a cord anchorage test. The electrical supply cord is inadequately anchored to the appliance and the electrical connection may become loose, posing a risk of fire or electric shock which may result in serious injury or death.

The affected heaters are branded Noirot with the following model numbers DM7358-3TWIFI-FDFS, DM7358-7TWIFI-FDFS, DM7358-5TWIFI-FDFS and DM7358-8TWIFI-FDFS.

Consumers should disconnect the product from electrical supply and not use it.

Sold at The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, Bing Lee, Betta Stores, Bi-rite and online at olimpiasplendid.com.au, consumers should return the product to the store it was purchased for a full refund.

Wi-Fi timer models purchased before 20 June 2022 are not affected by the recall.
