Kleenmaid and administrators Deloitte have announced the venue and date of the first meeting of creditors, where all creditors are invited to attend or watch the conference live via web-cast or teleconference.
The first meeting of creditors will be held at Chifley at Lennons, The Grand Ballroom, Level 5, 66-76 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000 on Thursday 23 April 2009 at 10.00 am.
Deloitte have emphasised that all creditors are welcome to attend the meeting but it is not compulsory.
“Not attending the meeting will not adversely affect your ability to submit a claim in the administration,” the company said.
If you are a creditor and wish to attend the event you must register your details at the Kleenmaid website and complete two documents: an ‘informal proof of debt for voting purposes’ and an ‘appointment of proxy – creditors meeting’ document
Both documents must be submitted 24 hours prior to the meeting.
Creditors who are unable to attend are also encouraged to view the meeting via web-cast or teleconference.
Accessing the meeting via these facilities will enable creditors to ask questions via a moderator but will be unable to vote at the meeting.
