Fisher & Paykel has once again expanded its network of partner cooking schools with Queensland’s Spirit House restaurant and cooking school near the Sunshine Coast joining the appliance brand’s National Cooking School Alliance program.

The Spirit House cooking school has been running for 15 years and, following a complete refurbishment to install Fisher & Paykel appliances, will now become the 11th cooking school to partner with F&P.

The brand provided Spirit House with a range of appliances to be used by cooking class participants and the school’s three teaching chefs, including a CoolDrawer, rangehoods, Gas on Glass cooktops, Induction cooktops, a 90-centimetre CookSpace Oven and DCS Outdoor Grill.

“Spirit House has all the right ingredients to put on excellent cooking classes — and now thanks to our appliances, the best tools as well,” said Fisher & Paykel Experiential and Alliances Manager, Julia Morrison.

“Spirit House is the best of the best. The restaurant and cooking school are very well known and established, with tourists from across the country and beyond flocking there on a daily basis. Classes run nearly every day and many book out well in advance — we are very excited to have Spirit House onboard.

“We are continually looking to expand our Cooking School Alliance programme with the right partners and moving forward will have a particular focus on Australia’s regional centres,” said Morrison.
