Miele has rolled out a new range of washing machines and tumble dryers combining stunning design, innovative technology, and Miele exclusive features.
Miele product manager of cooling, laundry and consumables, Melissa Taylor said convenience, sustainability and elegant design underpin the new range.
“For over 120 years, we have been perfecting our products to make customers lives as effortless as possible. Our latest range of washing machines and tumble dryers is no different and seeks to remove any element of ‘chore’ from the laundry process.”
With the Miele@mobile app, users can check the status of washing and drying loads remotely and even add laundry or halt the cycle.
AddLoad, available on the washing machines, enables users to add both large and small items to the load until shortly before the end of the cycle to save extra water and energy usage for missed garments. There is also a SingleWash feature for users who wish to wash single garments.
The QuickPowerWash feature delivers washing in 49 minutes which is on average 20% less time compared to current Miele models. Used in combination with Miele’s Spin&Spray technology that saturates laundry faster at the start of the wash, the length of the program is further reduced without compromising on results.
Miele’s new tumble dryers, including the Miele TWF 720 WP 8kg heat pump tumble dryer with 10-star energy rating, feature a minimum of 12 drying programs, designed to complement and work in tandem with the Miele washing machines.
Miele exclusive EcoDry technology offers consistently low energy consumption and drying times. The optimised filter and maintenance-free heat exchanger ensure lint will never clog the system and reduce performance.
Another key Miele feature across both the washing machines and tumble dryers is the pre-ironing function that gently smooths garments before they leave the drum, minimising the need for ironing by 50% or in some instances, makes ironing completely unnecessary.
Select Miele dryers now come with a transparent porthole door to seamlessly integrate into any laundry design. Inner door rings are available in obsidian black, chrome, lotus white and graphite grey PearlFinish.
“Tapping into a growing trend for strong contrasts and dark door elements, our new washing machines and dryers come with a brand-new modern door design featuring the chrome elements that are the hallmark of our appliances,” Taylor said.
RRPs for the new Miele washing machines start from $1,399 and $1,599 for the tumble dryers, now available from Miele Experience Centres and select retail partners.
