Electrical appliance retailer aims to build and develop new brands.

The Good Guys (TGG) has developed an exclusive range of technology, sound and TV accessories, under the brand name, Linden, that are on store shelves now.

“The Good Guys has always been about delivering great value to Australians. Linden is a private label brand that we are able to be involved with at every single stage of production. From product development, to manufacturing and right through to packaging, we have developed products that meet our customers’ needs and deliver great value,” TGG chief merchandise officer, Geoff Reader said.

“The Linden brand has been developed with our tech customers in mind, and the initial response has been really positive. It’s an exciting brand, with a fresh approach, and an individual style,” he added.

Reader says having full control of the supply chain is an advantage for the retailer.

“Linden is more about enhancing the customer experience. For the first time we have a single brand in Linden that provides accessories across the full range of TVs, and tech products,” he said.

The Good Guys will be taking on a multi-channel approach for marketing initiatives to promote Linden to customer.

“Given that the majority of customers start their shopping journey online, Linden will have a strong presence both in-store and online. It will be supported with a dedicated Linden website and dedicated Linden brand store on www.thegoodguys.com.au,” Reader commented.

“It’s an exclusive range available only at The Good Guys, and certainly a first for The Good Guys across the TV and Tech categories. Our aim is to continue to build and develop exciting new brands for our customers,” he concluded.
