Vic Sacco has replaced Kaz Yoshino as the managing director of Uniden Australia and New Zealand. Yoshino has returned to Japan. This is first time Uniden has appointed a local managing director for the company.

Uniden media statement:

“This promotion marks the next step in Sacco’s long and successful career at Uniden.  Sacco first joined Uniden as a sales representative in 1988, and has now been working with the company for 25 years.

“He held the role of NSW state sales manager for six years, before being promoted to national sales manager in 2012.  Over this time, Sacco has significantly shaped Uniden’s sales business and will bring his wealth of experience and understanding of the Uniden brand to his new role as managing director.

“In addition to his role as sales manager, Sacco has spent the last few years growing Uniden’s consumer business for storage and networking vendor Buffalo, and has been responsible for driving growth across the company’s key product categories.”
