MELBOURNE: JB Hi-Fi has headhunted two high profile local buyers from the former Coles Myer organisation – David Cook-Doulton and Chris Allen.
In a statement issued to the Australian Stock Exchange today, JB Hi-Fi confirmed the appointment of Cook-Doulton as national merchandise manager after previously holding the role of national visual merchandise manager for hardgoods at Myer.
JB Hi-Fi has also announced the appointment of former Kmart electronic games buyer – Chris Allen, who will join the company in June as product manager – electronic games.
"Both David and Chris are highly regarded in the retail industry and we are very excited to have them on the JB team as we go into another year of high growth" said JB Hi-Fi CEO, Richard Uechtritz.
