Expands Tasmanian market with appliances offer.
Leading industry retailer, JB Hi Fi opened a new store in Invermay,Launceston on Friday. It is the first in Tasmania to be marketed under the JB Home brand.
35 local staff have been recruited and last week area manager, John Parangi told the Launceston Examiner that the team was “pumped”.
“From our perspective it’s an awesome opportunity to launch JB (Hi-Fi) and all of our range into the market, but also get to work with the locals and see the local flavour around some of our gear.
Parangi said stock had been coming into the store since April 19.
“It hasn’t stopped. It’s still coming in the back door now,” he said.
