ILVE’s Panoramagic PM12 freestanding cooker is among the winners of the latest Archiproducts Design Awards, an annual prize celebrating worldwide design excellence, innovation and creativity.

The jury made up of architects, journalists, photographers and creative directors from around the world were commissioned to assess over 750 submissions with ILVE’s futuristic take on the original Panoramagic cooker from the 1960s judged to be a favourite among the panel.

First launched as a prototype at Eurocucina 2018, the Panoramagic went into production in late 2019 with a full range released by 2020 comprising 60cm, 76cm and 90cm built-in ovens, 90cm and 120cm canopy hoods, 90cm cookers in gas or induction surfaces and the flagship PM12 120cm freestanding cooker.

The latest iteration of the PM12 offers new features including LED backlit knobs, 4.3-inch TFT touch control, nano-tech coated burners, soft close doors, warming drawer and digital cooking probe.

“We are extremely thrilled and excited with this award for excellence and design innovation. Its recognition like this that drives ILVE as a company and manufacturer and it is great to be acknowledged for our bravery in pushing boundaries and breaking barriers in appliance design,” Eurolinx marketing manager, Daniel Bertuccio told Appliance Retailer.

The PM12 cooker will be arriving this week for display in the Eurolinx Sydney showroom. It will be available for purchase via the ILVE agency platform with pricing to be confirmed.
