LG Electronics is expanding its lifestyle screen line-up with the addition of the LG StanbyME Go (27LX5). The new model boasts a 27-inch touch display and a 20W four-channel speaker system integrated into a carry case that can store the remote control and power cable.
Building on the portability and versatility of the original StanbyME, the 27LX5 is designed to stream movies, play games and more from anywhere with the carry case, built-in battery and screen protection.
The screen can be titled, rotated 90 degrees from landscape to portrait mode, and the height can be adjusted by up to 18cm or put in table mode to lie flat and allow users to play digital board games or switch on the virtual record player. The StanbyME Go is compliant with the US military’s rigorous MIL-STD-810G standard.
Equipped with the proprietary LG webOS smart TV platform, StanbyME Go lets users connect to iOS or Android devices. Voice recognition makes it possible to launch apps, adjust sound and search for content hands-free.
LG StanbyME Go is set to launch globally, starting in the US this month, with plans to roll out in Europe including Italy, France, UK, Spain, Germany from next month.
