SYDNEY: To celebrate its major sponsorship of the 2007 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies, LG has announced it will be offering $50 and $100 cash back deals on some of its digital video recorders purchased from now through February.
Four models are included in the offer: the LST-5403P 250GB digital video recorder ($100 cash back), the LST-5402P 160GB digital video recorder ($50 cash back), the DBRH1979 250GB HDD/DVD recorder with digital tuner ($100 cash back) and the DBRH197 160GB HDD/DVD recorder with digital tuner.
Called ‘The LG Classic Catch Offer’, the promotion is designed to “alleviate sleep deprivation amongst cricket fans,” according to the company.
“In the lead up to the Cricket World Cup being held in the West Indies, LG is lightening the pains of midnight to dawn viewing sessions by delivering consumers the right products at the right time,” said LG category marketing manager – audio visual, Darren Goble.
“This cash incentive is designed to not only drive sales but reinforce LG’s commitment to simplifying the life of Australian consumers.
“LG is continuing its love affair with Australian sport and is enthusiastic to provide families the chance to experience the excitement of the Cricket World Cup at their own leisure. This promotion is our way of thanking customers for their ongoing support and loyalty by providing premium products at a remarkable price.”
To redeem the cash back offer, customers must fill out a claim form at participating retailers and send it, along with their receipt of purchase, to “The LG Cricket Cash Back Promotion”, PO Box 607 Eastern Suburbs Mail Centre, NSW 2004, by 5pm on 23 March 2007.
