Two members of the Blanco team Shriro Australia inherited from Hagemeyer Brands Australia have departed the organisation.

Jenelle Larvin, formerly the Blanco brand manager, and Ian Woodhouse, the national sales manager, both left Shriro soon after the integration of the Hagemeyer stable of appliances into Shriro’s merged operations was completed.

Larvin is well-regarded in the industry for her work promoting the Blanco brand. In the heavily congested major appliances space, especially with German brands, Larvin used stadium signage, demonstration kitchens and an association with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to raise brand awareness.

Woodhouse’s work was more behind the scenes, though Current.com.au understands that Blanco enjoyed good sales in the cooking appliance mid-market.

Upon purchasing Hagemeyer Brands Australia, Shriro took possession of three major appliance brands: Omega, Blanco and De Dietrich. While Omega and Blanco have remained in the market, Shriro has divested De Dietrich and remaining stock is being sold at drastically reduced prices on GraysOnline.
