Breville has proven it has friends in high places with the appearance of celebrated chef and sweet tooth Christina Tosi in its Sydney head offices.

Tosi is owner of Momofuku Milk Bar in New York (sister restaurant to the celebrated New York Momofuku Noodle Bar and Momofuku Seiobo in Sydney’s Star Casino) and was in Sydney for the Crave International Food Festival, which is taking place this October.

According to Breville Australia’s GM, Jeremy Sargeant, such a visit is par for the course when you have a link with Breville North America.

“Our US team has a connection with Christina, so she was thrilled to come to Breville headquarters for a behind the scenes tour of our design facility and share her passion with our local office,” said Sargeant.

“We are lucky to gain insights from high calibre food professionals, such as Christina, to further enhance our product development objectives and achieve our goal of creating world class kitchen appliances.”

Tosi took the opportunity while she was at the Breville Botany offices to talk up her dessert addictions and pose for a nifty photo op, using the Breville Scraper Mixer Pro and the Smart Oven to cook for the Sydney team.
