SYDNEY: Over 500 retailers from across New South Wales gathered last night to preview LG’s latest products at the brand’s 2007 ‘La Grande Magic’ Roadshow, with attendee’s treated to an evening of entertainment and enchantment as LG thanked it’s retail partners.

“LG’s 2007 La Grande Magic Roadshow was a theatrical circus themed production, providing guests with an exclusive preview of LG’s latest products in kitchen appliances and home entertainment in a colourful and lively atmosphere,” LG Electronics Australia managing director, Daniel Shin, told

“The gala event, which included entertainment by flying musical angels, magicians and acrobatic artists, was LG’s way of showing our gratitude to valued retail partners, staff and associates for their ongoing support and dedication to LG Electronics Australia and the Life’s Good philosophy,” he said.

With 2007 representing LG’s tenth year of operation in the Australian market and with an annual turnover in excess of $1 billion secured, Shin thanked all LG’s retailers in helping the brand to achieve this milestone.

“As well as sending a message of thanks to our retailers for their continued support, the Roadshow reaffirmed our commitment to the Australian consumer electronics market as a leader in technology and innovation.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for LG Electronics to provide retailers with an exclusive glimpse into exciting new products and campaigns on the horizon for LG. Most importantly, we wanted to treat them to a magical evening in celebration of the Life’s Good philosophy,” said Shin.

Key speakers at the show included LG managing director, Daniel Shin; general manager – marketing, Paul Jenkins; director – sales, Graeme Cunningham; national manager – major appliance sales, Murray Richardson; national manager – audio visual sales, Tony Thompson and national channel executive, Dan Duggan.

While guests on the night were entertained by one of Australia’s most recognised magician/comedians, Matt Hollywood, stunt violinist, Shenzo and acrobatic artists, Aerial Angels.
