Coffee enthusiasts rejoice.
De’Longhi launched its first pop-up barista-less café in Sydney so the public could ‘taste and see’ for themselves how easy it is to enjoy barista quality coffee at home.
People visiting the stand were able to trial how the machines in the range produce barista quality coffee at the touch of a button and via a Bluetooth-linked app. De’Longhi staff were on hand to demonstrate and answer questions about the new coffee technology.
The response for the three day event exceeded expectations according to category manager, Helen Finlayson, not just from people visiting the café but also from the level of engagement at the stand and the number of positive social media posts.
Melbourne coffee drinkers are able to enjoy the pop up café experience in Federation Square this week and there are plans to roll the concept out again next year.
