D-Link has launched its latest range of Wi-Fi products in Australia, including the R15 Eagle Pro AI AX1500 Smart Router, alongside the M15 Eagle Pro AI AX1500 Mesh Systems and E15 AX1500 Mesh Range Extender.
The R15 Eagle Pro AI AX1500 Smart Router (pictured above) is a dual-band Wi-Fi solution, capable of wireless speeds of up to 1,500 Mbps using the fast Wi-Fi 6 standard with up to 230 square metres of coverage.
A key selling point for the new router is the inclusion of an in-built AI Wi-Fi Optimiser that scans channels to ensure a strong connection with minimal interference. All products in the range also include the AI Mesh Optimiser which helps ensure a strong connection between mesh nodes via unique AI beamforming technology.
Included in the AI features is the AI Traffic Optimiser, prioritising the best connection for a household’s most important internet use, in addition to AI Parental Control to keep children safe and secure online. Through the Eagle Pro AI app, users receive recommendations and weekly reports based on network usage.
“The Eagle Pro AI Series is particularly significant as it is the first series to offer a complete range of products that not only integrate the latest in Wi-Fi 6 technology with artificial intelligence to offer incredible Wi-Fi coverage and speed, but have been specifically designed to do so together, from the ground up,” D-Link ANZ managing director, Graeme Reardon said.
“This means users get the most seamless, powerful, efficient and easy to use Wi-Fi experience possible.”
The Eagle Pro AI Wi-Fi range is available from D-Link’s website and authorised retailers, starting with the R15 Eagle Pro AI AX1500 Smart Router, which retails for $199.95. The M15 Eagle Pro AI AX1500 Mesh System comes in a two-pack for $279.95, or a $379.95 three-pack, while the E15 Eagle Pro AI AX1500 Mesh Range Extender is selling for $179.95.
