MALAGA, WA: Vax has announced that after 25 years of service, Eddy Baroni has decided to retire from the day-to-day operations of the Vax Appliances business, instead choosing to focus on his role as chairman of Vax Operations in Australia and the South Pacific region.
“Building and developing the success of Australian-made quality appliances has been demanding but very gratifying and most satisfying,” said Baroni.
“Since those early days when we were concentrating on a single product line only, the company has progressed enormously and now offers a variety of appliances and models for every domestic purpose and requirement.
“Along with this expansion program, Vax established branch offices and warehouse facilities in each of the mainland states within Australia and New Zealand, to adequately and completely service our vast network of retail outlets and importantly, our customers.
“The company is now well established and equipped to move forward with confidence and enthusiasm in meeting any challenge the future may present,” Baroni said.
Vax have yet to announce Eddie Baroni’s replacement but have confirmed that Eddie-Leigh Baroni will continue on as managing director of Vax Appliances.
