Outdoor wire-free pan and tilt camera first.
Uniden has added three new models to its home security range including the Guardian App Cam Solo PT, Australia’s first completely wire-free, pan and tilt, rechargeable, solar powered, home security camera (pictured below).
As well as being weatherproof with Full HD 1080p, the camera features an ultra-wide viewing angle, alongside a 355-degree pan and 140-degree tilt design, providing greater flexibility for installing and positioning around the home.
The camera can be moved remotely via the Uniden app for users that need to cover all angles. One camera can keep watch over the front and side of the house rather than using a conventional fixed camera solution, which would require two cameras to monitor the same area. The included Uniden Solar Panel can be used alongside the camera that is easily positioned for optimal sunlight exposure.
The solar panel recharges the App Cam Solo PT, while providing non-stop power during daylight hours, allowing footage to be recorded and viewed without the risk of draining the battery. Users can seamlessly integrate the App Cam Solo PT into existing smart home setup.
Other features include customised voice alerts, Thermo Sense technology for detecting body heat and movements for minimum false alerts, Two Way Talk functionality, intelligent alerts and Starlight Night Vision.
Also new to the Uniden surveillance line up is the App Cam Solo Bullet (pictured above) a rechargeable, wire-free Full HD camera with a traditional camera design featuring voice control and a solar panel for continuous power supply.
Further expanding the range is the Full HD 1080P, weatherproof App Cam FloodLight (pictured below), a powered camera and floodlight in one that can be dimmed via the app to suit its environment. Night vision enables a viewing distance of up to 10 metres, and up to 30 metres when the floodlight is activated. The camera connects to Wi-Fi, allowing remote access from anywhere using the app, and also features voice control functionality.
The new security cameras are backed with two-year local warranty.
