For all retail partners.

Ayonz management have confirmed that the current Blaupunkt TV range available through retail partners, including Bing Lee, have been discontinued in preparation for a new Google Android TV range, scheduled to launch at CES 2020.

A statement shared with Appliance Retailer said, “Blaupunkt TVs are currently being sold through multiple sales channels in Australia including Bing Lee, and we will continue to work with all of our partners on our 2020 range strategy.

“We always discontinue the Blaupunkt TV range in October to allow our retail partners to have sufficient time to sell through stock on hand throughout November and December, as new Blaupunkt TV ranges launch into market immediately after CES in January every year.

“Further to this, we started working on the 2020 range from August 2019 as Blaupunkt TVs are produced by world class manufacturers, with rigorous testing and quality control processes, that produce for global brands as well as international retail brands such as Walmart, Best Buys, Tesco, Euronics and many other credible companies.”

Blaupunkt is an official Google Android TV Partner and the new 2020 TV range will feature the latest Google Android TV platform, as well as a range of Google Assist Android TV boxes with one model launching in Australia this Christmas.

“The small compact design box connects to a current or old TV, allowing users to have the latest Android TV experience, including but not limited to, Netflix, YouTube, Google Movies and many more popular apps that can be downloaded from the Google Play store. Users can also cast content from their smartphone onto the TV,” Ayonz management said.
