With $12m up for grabs.

Alcatel has launched its ‘Try For A Million’ promotion that will give fans the chance to win $1 million for each South Sydney Rabbitohs home game.

The promotion challenges fans to predict the exact number and sequence of tries scored by specific players, which can be entered prior to each home game.

Entry each round is free of charge with members and fans having the chance to win up to $12 million across all Rabbitohs home games across the 2019 season. The promotion is limited to the first 5,000 entrants for each South Sydney home game.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will heavily promote the competition in the lead up to each of its home games via its website, and integrate the progress of the competition in its social media activity for each game.

Alcatel parent company, TCL, will also activate with the South Sydney Rabbitohs for the first time, with a TCL prize pack consisting of the latest TCL television, tablet and smartphone being awarded each week to a participating fan should the major prize not be won.

Alcatel vice president and regional managing director for South East Asia and Pacific, Sam Skontos said, “We are committed to adding value and excitement to people’s lives through access to affordable technology, so our partnerships are focused on bringing this to life.

“With our ‘Try For A Million’ promotion we are adding another layer of excitement to the game-day experience for both South Sydney fans and NRL fans more broadly. Engaging with Australian sports fans is something we have done for close to a decade, but this is by far the biggest and most exciting activation we have launched and are proud to be doing so in conjunction with the South Sydney Rabbitohs.”
