2nds World restructured its management team with two new appointments, Denis Harvey as merchandise consultant and Karl Holdsworth as retail sales manager for NSW and Victoria. They both report to general manager, Allen Garb who joined the business after 11 years with The Good Guys and 15 years with the Wesfarmers Group.
2nds World managing director, Peter Hammerman said, “As with all growing successful businesses, we recognise the need to adapt and change. It is a requirement to embrace change and continually evolve and look to the future. With this in mind, we have restructured our management team to fit the new retail landscape.”
Denis Harvey spent over 15 years with The Good Guys in various roles, initially as advertising manager and more recently as national category manager, whitegoods and business manager home appliances. He replaced Alex Mackenzie who is now with Qantas.
Karl Holdsworth has more than 16 years of retail experience also with The Good Guys, mostly as store proprietor and more recently as a consultant. In his new role, based in Auburn, Karl has taken responsibility for all stores, managers, staff, merchandising and retail processes.
Dragi Kozarovski, chief operating officer and head of buying, also oversees logistics, HR and services including implementation of the new computer system CRMS.
