JB Hi-Fi has affirmed its previously announced FY19 Group sales guidance of total sales of circa $7.1 billion at its annual general meeting (AGM) and provided a sales update for the three months to 30 September, 2018.

JB Hi-Fi Australia recorded sales growth of 5.3%, down from 8.1% in the previous corresponding period (pcp) with comparable sales growth of 3.4%, down from 4.9% in the pcp.

JB Hi-Fi New Zealand sales were up 4% compared to a loss of 6.3% in the pcp, with comparable sales growth of 9.8%, up from a loss of 6.2% in the pcp.

As for The Good Guys, total sales growth was 2.3%, down from 4.1% in the pcp with comparable sales growth of 1%, down from 3.4% in the pcp.
