Appliances Online has released its latest brand experience film, featuring founder, John Winning, his team members and Australian actress Kirsty Lee Allan.
Shot at the company’s Sydney head office in Redfern and distribution centre in Rosehill, Winning said the film aims to tell the Appliances Online story and demonstrate the company’s passion for the customer, which started with a 1300 number diverted to Winning’s mobile phone that was answered anytime day or night.
“When I launched Appliances Online in 2005, we had to educate and encourage people to shop online,” he said.
“Fast forward to today’s crowded online retail space, Appliances Online demonstrates to customers that a trusted retailer is one which offers an exceptional end-to-end customer experience. The experience doesn’t stop after the checkout; it’s only the beginning of the journey.
“We have a Net Promoter Score of over 80 in comparison to the Australian retail average of 12, which is something we are very proud of.”
The film was created by Heckler, originally for the Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIA) award night, where Appliances Online was celebrated as a Hall of Fame member.
Winning Group Neuroscientist and Chief Strategy Officer, Katharina Kuehn said, “Our intention with the film was to distil our business’s DNA and why we do what we do, into a story. It connects our brand to people who are inspired by the same values as we are.
“The most remarkable common feature of our team members is that they go above and beyond by default, not by exception. They thrive on saying yes in a no world, on not taking no for an answer. They have fun making the impossible possible, even in the smallest things.
The brand experience film is being launched together with a Nominate A Legend competition across social media from now until 21 October, 2018.
“The aim of the competition is to encourage the public to nominate and give praise to a legend that they know, who goes above and beyond for others. This is a quality that Appliances Online shares with our customers,” Winning said.
The winning legend and their nominator will each be awarded $5,000 to spend on Samsung appliances at Appliances Online.
