After two years.

Digital radio manufacturer, Pure has re-entered the Australian market thanks to an exclusive distribution deal with Aqipa Australia. Pure has been absent from the local market for two years.

Pure chief commercial officer, Rob Haycock commented, “We are really excited to be back. It is a fantastic market for digital radio, despite the rise of streaming and owned media, live radio remains number one (GfK), and is continuing to thrive.

“For us, choosing the right partner to support our re-entry was crucial. We wanted to get it right, which is why we chose Aqipa Australia. They are the perfect fit for our brand in terms of capability and direction the business is taking.”

Aqipa Australia director, Sohan Karunaratne added, “As the pioneers of digital radio, we are confident that Pure’s core competencies of good, British engineering along with stylish design will be appealing and well received by our consumers, especially as the roll out of DAB+ continues across the country.”

The Pure Evoke digital radio range is among the products on offer through key retailers such as Myer and Harvey Norman. Other products include the new Siesta range of bedside radios and Move range of personal and portable DAB radios.
